HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud inaugurated this evening Qatar airways A350 XWB Aircraft , as first airline in the world to receive and operate this type of aircraft.
This came during a ceremony organized by Qatar Airways, held in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and also in the presence of a group of ministers, and ambassadors. HE Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud toured inside A350 XWB Aircraft in order to identify the advantages of the first aircraft of its kind in the world.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said : “We are ready to commence operations with the A350 XWB and are delighted to introduce another level of service with our expanded fleet,” Al Baker said.
“The engineering design of the A350 XWB is modern, technologically refined and spacious, and we are proud to welcome yet another fine aeroplane into the Qatar Airways’ fleet.”
