To offer customers an improved experience, du has upgraded the look and feel of its du TV and Video on Demand service, to offer a richer browsing and discovery experience. The new-look Video on Demand interface will offer simpler navigation, more options, and global subtitle settings for enhanced convenience, amongst other exciting new features.

Customers subscribed to du TV will experience the upgraded Video on Demand interface free of charge, with a new storefront, the addition of a Favourites section, subtitles, and a new viewing options menu and channel search.

Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du, said: “Our Video on Demand feature is very popular with du TV subscribers, as it offers them some of the world’s greatest movies that can be viewed at their own leisure, for exceptional value. The upgrade of Video on Demand and du TV comes as part of our commitment to consistently offering an improved experience to our customers, adding more value to their lives by making every day more convenient and simple.”

du TV+ offers customers an evolutionary digital entertainment experience, with basic packages including more than 200 local and international channels, plus access on du’s On Demand Club – a comprehensive archive of free movies, television shows and more. Customers can also choose to subscribe to a number of pay-TV packages for even more channel variety. And, with the Rewind TV feature on du TV and du TV+, customers never have to miss their favourite shows again, as they can rewind up to 4 hours of live programming!

Video on Demand is a service available to du TV customers, allowing them to browse through a catalogue of movies, including titles from Arabic cinema, Hollywood blockbusters, Bollywood movies and more, all through the du TV remote control. Finding exactly the movie customers are looking for is easy, with categories such as ‘New Additions’, ‘Top Titles’, ‘Special Offers’ and ‘All-Time Classics’ making navigation clear and simple – viewers can even watch a trailer of the movie they want to watch, before purchasing it to view at their leisure. New movie titles are added to the Video on Demand catalogue every month, with thousands available in the library for du TV subscribers
