Barwa Real Estate Company has won a government tender to Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) Economic Zones Company Manateq’s Low Cost Warehouse on Plot No 4 here, the company said.
The approximate cost of the project is QR 750 Million. Under the terms of the BOT tender Barwa will develop the Lost Cost Warehouse in 24 months with a lease agreement of 25 years.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Manateq and Barwa signed the Letter of Intent (LOI) on Sunday.
Manateq is a state-owned shareholding company set up by the Minister of Business and Trade of the State of Qatar under decision No. 272 in the year 2011.
This project will augment Barwa’s income through business operations during the 25-year lease term, a notification posted by Qatar Stock Exchange said today.
