His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates

 President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable to President Fouad Massoum of Iraq on the occasion of his election and oath-taking as Iraq’s new president.

In the cable, President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his best wishes for success for the Iraqi president in his assignment in the service of Iraq and in the fulfillment of the Iraqi people’s ambitions of stability and prosperity.

“We are fully confident in your wisdom and ability to deal with the demands of the current stage that brotherly Iraq is going through,” said President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed his keen interest in bolstering bilateral relations between U.A.E. and Iraq in the service of the interests of their brotherly peoples.

He affirmed that U.A.E. looks forward to seeing Iraq restore its normal position in the Arab World and have a positive contribution that expresses its civilisational and historic heritage.

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of U.A.E. Armed Forces also sent two similar cables of congratulations to the new Iraqi president.
