Chairman of French-Arab-Gulf Friendship Association in the French parliament Senator Philippe Marini arrived here on Saturday along with a delegation accompanying him on an official three-day visit to the country.
During his visit, Marini is scheduled to meet with Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, as well as a number of MPs and ministers.
The French Senator’s visit aims at assuring importance of parliamentary diplomacy in supporting and boosting bilateral relations between France and Kuwait in various areas, and developing a mechanism to activate mutual parliamentary visits in order to enhance partnership, and deepening Kuwaiti-French ties in the forthcoming stage.
