HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani, the Minister of Economy and Commerce met here Tuesday with HE Pablo Kang, Australian non-resident Ambassador to Qatar.
During the meeting, Kang handed HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce a written message from Australian Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb, covering aspects of cooperation and promotion of economic , trade and investment relations between the two countries.
It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between Qatar and Australia reached nearly QR 4.6 billion last year , as the value of Qatari exports to Australia estimated at QR 2.6 billion , while the value of Australia’s imports reached Australia QR 2.1 billion for the year 2013.
