Kuwait will host on Monday the 10th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) capital markets chiefs, GCC General Secretariat stated on Sunday.
The conferees will discuss follow-up mechanisms of the unified GCC capital market integration rules, which were approved by the GCC leaders in their recent 34th summit.
They will also review reports of joint teams on GCC markets’ integration, said the Secretariat in a press statement.
The meeting will also tackle the unified principles for companies’ governance in GCC capital markets, proposals to improve them, reports on following-up unified regulations for shares listing at stock markets in Gulf countries, the statement said.
The conferees will also discuss outcome of working team of supervising and monitoring performance of GCC stock markets.
Moreover, the meeting will touch upon the working strategy of the GCC ministerial committee of chiefs of stock market regulators, as well as latest updates and developments in GCC stock markets.
