The 29th IFI Congress is taking place in Dubai next month!

US-based design futurist, educator and author, Shashi Caan, CEO of the International Federation of Interior architects and designers (IFI) will be in Dubai on January 14, 2020, where she will unveil plans to the media of the biannual IFI Congress and General Assembly (GA).

President of APID and first National Interior Designer HH Farida Kamber Al Awadhi will co-host the press conference accompanied by representatives from Dubai Municipality, Dubai Tourism and Dubai Economic Department.

Exciting news about a new global design award, the prominent keynote speakers and other news about APID’s new not-for-profit status will also be revealed during the press conference.

The 13th IFI CONGRESS- DESIGN 2050 – Technology. Design. Education 26-28 February 2020 is hosted by the Association of Professional Interior Designers (APID) and supported by the City of Dubai, U.A.E. The event, supported by DUBAI- Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, (DTCM) is dubbed as one of the regions most influential design events of the year, investigating the key themes of Technology, Design, and Education.

Over 300 international delegates will attend the 13th IFI Congress and General Assembly- Design 2050 Technology-Design-Education will be held at the Park Hyatt Hotel and Resort Dubai from February 26-28, 2020.
