SCFHS Announces Graduation of 12,591 Trainees, Strengthening the Kingdom’s Healthcare Workforce

Graduation ceremony at King Saud University honors 12,591 SCFHS trainees from 2025 programs

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) held a ceremony celebrating the graduation of 12,591 male and female trainees from the Saudi Board and Health Academy programs for the year 2025. The event took place on Wednesday at King Saud University.

In his address, Minister of Health and Chairman of the SCFHS Board of Trustees, Fahad AlJalajel, stated: “Today, under our wise leadership, the health sector is undergoing an exceptional transformation that has captured global attention and positioned the Kingdom as a hub for addressing global health challenges. This reflects the continued priority and support given to healthcare in a nation where ‘human health comes first.’”

He added: “The remarkable growth we are witnessing in the Saudi Board and Health Academy programs is one of the achievements of our health transformation journey. Today, we celebrate the graduation of more than 12,500 trainees across various health specialties in the 2025 Saudi Board and Health Academy programs—an outstanding cohort motivated by knowledge, compassion, and a commitment to improving healthcare quality and contributing to increased life expectancy for citizens, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
