Rotana, a hotel management company with properties across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Turkey, announced that Guy Hutchinson, acting chief executive officer, has been promoted to serve as the permanent president and CEO to lead the company’s next phase of growth.
Hutchinson has held the position of acting CEO since January 2019, when the former president and CEO stepped down from the role. With 30 years of experience working in the hospitality industry, the seasoned executive served various roles with Hilton Worldwide in markets as diverse as Japan, Australia, China, India and the UAE.
On the new role, Hutchinson said: “I feel honoured to have been given this opportunity. It’s truly exciting to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team, and together we look forward to leading Rotana’s next phase of growth.
