HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed over 40 founders and CEOs of Indian unicorn companies

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, received a delegation of over 40 founders and CEOs from Indian unicorn companies, members of the Griffin Club for Indian Billionaire Entrepreneurs. The meeting also included His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE.
During the gathering, Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that building cross-sector and cross-border partnerships remains a cornerstone of Dubai’s forward-looking vision. He described these collaborations as vital to fostering international cooperation and paving the way for a more prosperous future.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted Dubai’s attractive business environment, which draws quality investments and solidifies the city’s status as a preferred destination for global unicorns and startups aiming to scale in regional and international markets.
The Crown Prince reaffirmed the leadership’s strong commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, investors, and unicorn companies, citing flexible legislative frameworks, advanced digital infrastructure, and efficient government services that foster innovation and business confidence.
This high-level meeting was part of the World Governments Summit – Griffin Dialogue, an event designed to promote cooperation and knowledge sharing between global entrepreneurs and governments. Discussions focused on enhancing cross-sector partnerships in the digital economy, advanced technologies, and innovation, alongside strategies for nurturing a knowledge-based, AI-driven economy that champions sustainable development.
The delegation featured over 40 leading entrepreneurs from diverse sectors critical to the future economy, including advanced technology, education, healthcare, fintech, space, retail, logistics, and more.
Also present were His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications and Vice Chairman of the World Governments Summit; His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; and Mohamed Alsharhan, Managing Director of the World Governments Summit.
