Break the Block, the city’s favourite Ultrasonic Block Party, is back on January 26th , 2024!

This January 26th, Break the Block, Dubai’s Ultrasonic Block Party, will set an electrifying tone and bring a unique rhythm to Al Forsan Park in Expo City Dubai. Presented by BRAG and Factory People, and in collaboration with Live Nation Middle East and Expo City Dubai, and Dubai Calendar

as strategic partners, Break the Block is amped up and ready to bring the noise and the funk back to Dubai’s streets, dialing up the tunes, the eats, and the vibes until even the night dwellers are saying, “Should we call it a night?”

Imagine the coolest, most out-there backyard bash – if your friend’s backyard was as big as a city park, and they knew a bunch of exceptionally cool musicians and DJs. This will be the kind of block party that even people who “don’t do parties” will have major FOMO for. It’s the ultimate playlist come to life; except you’re not streaming it – you’re living it. Now is the time to circle the date in red, set a dozen reminders, and start the countdown, because this is one street party you won’t want to miss.

From when the clock strikes 6 pm until people start saying, “Why is the sun already up?” (aka 4 am) at the HOT MESS afterparty, Break the Block will be throwing down an epic mixtape of the sickest beats to tickle every auditory taste, with a side of street food that’ll have your tastebuds writing thank you notes.

Sneak in early without breaking the bank as the early bird tickets are just AED195 a pop for anyone 16 and over, offering access to all stages. Snatch them up at www.platinumlist.net before they vanish like your Sunday motivation.

Leading the musical brigade is JUNGLE, a dynamic duo straight out of London who know their way around a beat better than most chefs know their way around a kitchen, bringing a groovy mix of funk and soul guaranteed to get the heart racing. For an extra infusion of dirty basslines and sick pulsations, NIGHTMARES ON WAX (DJ SET) will be spinning tracks that’ll make you feel all kinds of freedom. Not to forget Shadi Megallaa, a vinyl virtuoso who’s all about those tunes that get the crowd moving.

As the clock strikes midnight, the melodies will be turned up to an even higher tempo as a myriad of funk masters and maestros of house music descend on the HOT MESS afterparty. Think exceptionally energetic beats continuing into the early hours as a whole host of well-known groove gurus ensure your night is wrapped up with a bang. The party vibes will be electrifying and the mood intoxicating as partygoers are in for a messy one at this non-stop raging phenomenon.

Get ready Dubai’s young and sleepless! Doors open from 6 pm to 4 am (16+ only, sorry kiddos).
