BoConcept, the world’s most global furniture brand, announces the opening of its newest store at Dubai Hills Mall this November. Born in Denmark in 1952, BoConcept brings its unique philosophy of elevating everyday living through Danish design to one of Dubai’s most dynamic shopping destinations, inspiring customers to Live Ekstraordinær.

The new store, located within the 2-million-square-foot Dubai Hills Mall in the prestigious Dubai Hills Estate, will showcase BoConcept’s complete collection of contemporary furniture and accessories designed to enhance the way people live, work, and play. True to the brand’s commitment to self-expression, customers will have the freedom to personalize almost every BoConcept design, creating spaces as individual as they are.

“Dubai has such an appreciation for quality design and the freedom to make spaces truly personal,” said Julia Fadeeva, Managing Director, BoConcept UAE. “We’re excited to be part of Dubai Hills Mall because it connects us with people who understand that furniture should work with how you actually live – not the other way around. That’s what Danish design is all about.”

From Danish Craftsmen to Global Design Leaders

For more than 70 years, BoConcept has collaborated with the world’s most renowned designers to create furniture celebrated for its modularity, functionality, and uncompromising quality. What began in 1952, when Danish craftsmen Jens Ærthøj and Tage Mølholm opened a furniture factory in the small town of Herning, has evolved into the world’s most global furniture brand, with over 300 stores across 65 countries.

BoConcept products reflect the core values of Danish design DNA: craftsmanship, simplicity, functionality, and quality materials. Each piece is meticulously crafted to be intuitively inviting and aesthetically timeless — appealing to the senses while maintaining the purposeful harmony of form and function.

The Dubai Hills Mall location will feature collections created in collaboration with acclaimed international designers such as Karim Rashid, Oki Sato (nendo), and Morten Georgsen. Staying true to BoConcept’s design philosophy, customers can personalize nearly every element — from modular sofas to extendable dining tables — creating designs that are unmistakably their own.

Endless Possibilities Through Danish Design Innovation

At BoConcept, self-expression lies at the heart of the design experience. The Dubai Hills Mall showroom will showcase the brand’s extraordinary approach to customization, allowing clients to personalize size, color, material, configuration, and more across almost every design. From choosing between 120+ fabrics and leathers to selecting leg styles and finishes, the creative possibilities are endless.

The store will present BoConcept’s complete range of contemporary furniture designed for today’s evolving lifestyles, including:

  • Modular seating systems with customizable configurations
  • Extendable dining tables and coordinated chair collections
  • Wall units and storage solutions tailored to individual spaces
  • Bedroom collections featuring platform beds and wardrobes
  • Home office solutions designed for modern hybrid work life
  • Outdoor collections bringing Danish design into open-air living

Each piece exemplifies BoConcept’s dedication to precision and purposeful craftsmanship — designed to bring joy, comfort, and inspiration to everyday living.

Strategically Positioned for the Urban-Minded Customer

The location within Dubai Hills Estate places BoConcept at the center of Dubai’s new urban lifestyle hub, connecting the brand with design-conscious customers who seek elevated, meaningful design in every aspect of life.

“BoConcept creates furniture for people who understand that great design should be accessible,” added Julia Fadeeva. “Dubai Hills Mall attracts a forward-thinking, design-minded audience that appreciates the Danish tradition of exceptional quality made available to everyone — exactly the vision our founders imagined more than 70 years ago.”

Danish Craftsmanship and Responsible Production

BoConcept maintains its authentic Danish heritage through a strong commitment to production excellence — with over 95% of its furniture still made in Denmark and Europe. This ensures the exceptional quality that has defined the brand for more than seven decades while supporting ethical and responsible manufacturing practices.

The brand’s sustainability commitments include FSC-certified wooden furniture and partnerships with European suppliers such as Nordic SPOOR, providing fully traceable Scandinavian leather. Every aspect of production follows BoConcept’s rigorous code of conduct, upholding employee welfare and environmental responsibility.

The opening of BoConcept at Dubai Hills Mall further strengthens the brand’s presence in the Middle East, catering to a growing community of customers who value authentic Danish design, personalization, and sustainable craftsmanship.
