Palm Bay restaurant has opened its doors at Club Vista Mare.
Featuring colourful furniture, neon signs, instagramable murals from local artists on the walls and even a shipping container, with the space split into four distinct quarters echoing the great Caribbean capitals of Kingston, Havana, Bridge Town, Port of Spain and Santa Domingo, outside on the terrace there are two cool gardens to sit back and relax.
Soul food comes first at Palm Bay, and for those unfamiliar with Caribbean cooking, it’s a fusion of African, Cajun, Creole, European, Latin American, Indian and even Middle East influences.
Weekly specials include unlimited wings on Thursdays for AED 99, Friday Brunch with unlimited starters, sharing mains, a selection of desserts and a choice of three beverage packages. Finishing the weekend with flavour, Palm Bay’s Island Roast serves four roasts, two meat, one fish and one vegetarian, washed down with two beverages for AED 150.
Palm Bay’s open music policy means any meal will be accompanied by a mix of old classics with a modern vibe. DJs add to the atmosphere at weekends and ‘Havana Night’ (Ladies Night) on Tuesdays.
