Qatar Stocks Close Marginally Lower

Qatar Stock Exchange index dropped marginally by 0.9 points (0.01%) when trading closed Sunday at 13,075.43 points.
The trading value reached QR 614.926 Million a volume of 12,833,424 shares from 6,908 transactions.
The market capitalisation reached QR 693.699 Billion.

Consumer goods and services all share index gained 56.18 points or 0.76% when it closed at 7,401.78 points.
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 42 were traded, from these 18 made gains, 19 declined and five remained unchanged.

Medicare led the gainers today, up 5.48% by QR 6.50 to close today at QR 125.20.
There was demand for Mannai Corporation share too following its announcement of increase by 31.5% in its first half net profit. The share gained 2.97% to close at QR 117.70 from the Thursday afternoon’s QR 114.30.

Qatari individual investors bought a volume of 6,731,649 shares of 40 companies for a value of QR 276.896 Million or 45.03% of the total shares bought today.
Qatari individual investors sold a volume of 6,702,930 shares of 41 companies for a value of QR 277.955 Million or 45.20% of the total shares sold today.

Qatari institutional investors bought a volume of2,495,202 shares of 31 companies for a value of QR 154.714 Million or 25.16% of the total shares bought today.
Qatari institutional investors sold a volume of 3,097,369 shares of 28 companies for a value of QR 168.088 Million or 27.33% of the total shares sold today.
