Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 847.94 points (+7.58%) when it closed at 12,029.59 points Sunday.
The traded value increased to QR 1,259.97 million from QR 643.11 million in last Wednesday.
The traded volume surged to 26,106,586 shares from 9,437 transactions as compared to 14,078,190 shares from 7,846 transactions on Wednesday.
The market capitalization increased to QR 661,665,286,744.43 from QR 618,599,920,766.78 in last Wednesday.
Real estate index was the only sector to close in the green today, up +9.98% to 2,165.38 points.
Banks and financial sector index topped gainers, up +5.16% to 3,175.87 points. Telecoms index rises +10% to 1,406.68 points.
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 41 advanced, one went down and one remained unchanged.
