Qatar Stock Index Drops 82.03 Points

imageQatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 82.03 (-0.82%) points when the bourse closed trading at 9,959.67 points on Tuesday.

The daily turnover increased to QR 129,196 Million with a volume of 3,481,577 shares from 2,783 deals compared with QR 108,819 Million with a volume of 3,053,196 shares from 2,317 deals on Monday.

Indices of one sector ended in the green and six sectors ended in red today. Insurance sector ended in the red, dropped -0.54% to 3,987.73 points. While Transportation sector index increased +0.39% to 2,383.92 points.

QSE Total Return Index dropped when it closed at -0.82 to 15,480.87 points today. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index closed -0.88% to 3,668.84 points. QSE All Share Index down -0.87% to 2,656.55 points.

From the 43 companies listed on QSE, 39 saw trading today. From these, twelve gained, twenty six closed lower and one remained unchanged.
