Emirates Motor Company Commercial Vehicles (EMC CV) – Mercedes-Benz authorized distributor in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and member of ALFAHIM Group, has earned the Special Achievement Award at the Daimler Commercial Vehicles Conference for their innovative power, exceptional overall performance and business excellence.
Amongst Mercedes-Benz general distributors in the region, EMC emerged with this distinctive accolade owing to high penetration within the Abu Dhabi market and applying unique concepts for enhanced customer experiences and loyalty.
At the awards ceremony, Mr. Bilal Al Ribi – General Manager of EMC CV, said, “We always strive for the best to continue exceeding customer expectations, and I am proud of our EMC CV team for abiding by such high standards of their diligence at every touchpoint. In 2019, EMC successfully introduced the Actros 5, now being applied to crushers, waste collection vehicles and oil and gas related units. Meanwhile, the new Citaro99 Euro 6 bus units were also launched in Abu Dhabi, currently being used within the city for public transportation.
The award also highlighted the first-of-its-kind launch of the all-new 2020 Sprinter van by EMC CV and Mercedes-Benz. The spectacular festival, named Vanchella, featured the Sprinter as the star of the show amidst a collection of customized Mercedes-Benz vans in an interactive set-up with music, entertainment and experience zones.
Additionally, being the largest Fleetboard Mercedes-Benz distributor in the region, EMC CV also demonstrated their commitment towards customer loyalty with the first Mercedes-Benz Fleetboard Championship, which gathered 800 truck drivers from four of the biggest Fleetboard customers. The competition aimed at recognizing skilled drivers and promoting safe driving.
Worth mentioning, the authorized distributor were also finalists for three other awards, including General Distributor of the Year. EMC CV continues to seek new methods and techniques to enrich customers’ journeys with the Mercedes-Benz brand, be it in trucks, buses or vans.
