National Industries Park (NIP) will soon host one of the region’s largest automotive refurbishment facilities under a AED55 million ($15 million) partnership with Cars24

The new Cars24 facility will serve as a regional hub for vehicle refurbishment, pre-delivery inspections, after-sales support, and export-ready preparation. Designed to handle multiple automotive brands—including electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers and Chinese OEMs—the centre is positioned to meet the growing demand for sustainable mobility and advanced automotive services across the GCC.
Built as a solar-powered facility, the centre will promote circular economy principles by extending the lifespan of vehicles, particularly EVs, and reducing the environmental footprint associated with manufacturing new cars. Each vehicle will undergo more than 140 internal quality checkpoints, along with Dubai RTA approvals and Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) 5-Star certification.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer, Parks & Zones, DP World GCC, said: “Cars24’s new facility will anchor Dubai’s position as the region’s automotive hub. The Middle East and Africa used car market generated over $100 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow by 4.9% annually from 2025 to 2030. By connecting global manufacturers and regional distributors, DP World is creating a platform that accelerates growth, strengthens supply chains and delivers new opportunities for the industry.”
Abhinav Gupta, CEO, Cars24 Arabia, added: “Our new centre will set a benchmark for speed, reliability, and sustainability in the automotive sector. Located in NIP, it offers world-class infrastructure and seamless access to trade routes, enabling companies to scale efficiently across GCC and international markets.”
The project reinforces DP World’s broader automotive cluster strategy across NIP and Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), where major global manufacturers, distributors, and EV innovators are based. It also supports Dubai’s long-term vision to establish itself as the region’s leading hub for automotive trade and innovation, aligned with the world’s largest car market initiative announced in 2024 by DP World and Dubai Municipality.
