Sara Riyad Barraj: New Role and New Strategy

More than a decade in Hospitality & Tourism industry, starting from her home country, Lebanon, to the United Arab Emirates, Sara brings a wealth of PR and marketing experience to her team.

Working in the hospitality industry is not everyone’s cup of tea. Sara, who recently got promoted to Assistant Marketing and E-Commerce Manager, and who is currently handling the marketing department in Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman, has collaborated with her team and accomplished outstanding results in a short period of time.


Her passion and excellent skills for the industry are the basic two elements that made a positive impact. “It’s her sunny personality that makes her a pure joy to work with” her team said.

Sara has resumed her journey in Hospitality after the pandemic. “It was not an easy restart”, she mentioned. “but I’m happy to see people have missed to travel and are back to explore every bit of the world. In Ajman, visitors are coming to the emirate whether for family staycation, business trips or for leisure purposes.”

Furthermore, Sara is looking forward to follow a new marketing strategy, Trend-jacking.
Trend-jacking is a social media marketing strategy in which a brand uses trending topics to connect with their audience. Sara mentioned, “By tapping into the conversations and interests that are already capturing the attention of the online community, we can position our brand at the forefront of these discussions, gaining exposure and increasing our brand visibility. With caution, and by ensuring that the chosen trend or topic aligns with our brand’s values and guidelines, I am looking to inject a unique perspective into our content related to trending topics, as we can create a memorable impression on our audience. This not only fosters a sense of relatability but also helps to build a more authentic and human connection with our valuable guests”.
