What’s the tea at Hyde Hotel Dubai? International trailblazing artist Sophie Tea is transforming Hyde Hotel’s penthouse into a Hydden Gem, a creative haven for modern travelers featuring her whimsical masterpieces. Connoisseurs can also enjoy her art displayed across the hotel as well at a Sophie Tea themed high tea at Cleo.

Starting December 8, the Hyde penthouse themed as Hydden Gem by Sophie Tea will feature artwork from her “Love Doesn’t Stop” collection, with vibrant art pieces that exude positivity and energy, vivid reminders for people that they are loved, continuously, despite the hardships placed on relationships during the pandemic.

Sophie Tea is one of the UK’s most buzz-worthy and sought-after artists, disrupting the traditional gallery route by making her name through social media. Hundreds of thousands have fallen in love with her rebellious spirit and her colorful and abstract work that celebrates [GU1] the female form and women empowerment; her energetic drips and signature splats have inspired [GU2] a cult media following.

Sophie has exhibited in art capitals and received rave reviews all over the world – from London, Sydney, LA to Hong Kong – but her eloquent artwork will now be accessible through a stay at Hyde Hotel.

“We are so excited for Hyde Dubai’s penthouse to be the next canvas for Sophie Tea’s art. We’ve always believed that there should be space for art everywhere, so that more people can appreciate and be inspired by it. Sophie Tea has been a pivotal part of this movement and we are happy to collaborate with her and give her this platform to reach both locals and tourists with her collection,” shared Luke James, General Manager of Hyde Hotel Dubai.

The penthouse takeover is presented by Gone Rogue, a collective focused on bringing art to as many spaces and affecting as many lives as possible. Gone Rogue works with clients of all kinds to host events and create experiences with art for people to engage, relate to and fall in love with because it’s all about the story and the feeling it evokes.

Aside from the fascinating transformation of Hyde Hotel Dubai’s penthouse, guests can further imbibe Sophie Tea’s joyous spirit with love-inspired activations around the hotel – including a specially themed high tea in Cleo, a welcoming oasis serving Mediterranean and Levantine cuisine. Guests can enjoy a specially curated menu while relaxing at the expansive al-fresco terrace, set against the mesmerizing backdrop of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Canal. Stay tuned for more tea on this in Hyde Hotel’s social media channels!
