The Spa at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi has announced its new series of wellness masters by which it will host four acclaimed practitioners for exclusive week-long residencies. Beginning this November until February 2024, guests can experience private sessions with Jimmy Jarnet, Justin Andries, Dr Buathon Thienarrom and Milena Naydenov for moments of serenity and self-discovery.

Jimmy Jarnet

From 20 – 29 November 2023, acclaimed wellness designer Jimmy Jarnet will be offering hyper-personalised programmes that promote his philosophy of listening to oneself. Jimmy is recognised as one of the foremost contributors to the international wellness community, having won France’s Best Masseur Award in 2016.

The ‘Ultimate Massage Experience’ at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental is entirely unique, encompassing an intense energy exchange that is both interactive and relaxing. Prices start from AED 1,435 for 55 minutes or AED 1,800 for 75 minutes. In addition, guests can enhance their overall fitness with customised 55-minute ‘Personal Training’ sessions that achieve body-mind symbiosis for AED 825 – or combine the two with a combination of massage and movement priced at AED 2,100 for a 110-minute holistic experience.

Justin Andries

Available exclusively from 14 – 23 December, Justin Andries will offer private energy reading sessions and guided group meditations for holistic well-being. Justin masters his intuitive techniques to create change in others and push them to live to their fullest potential.

Guests can embark on a journey of self-discovery with divine ‘Energy Reading’ sessions. Alternatively, ‘Birth Chart Readings’ show the markers of energies that were present when we physically came into the world – and can be explained by Justin to help release inner limitations and drive ambitions. Both 75-minute clairsentient interpretations are available for AED 990.

There is also the option to participate in a ‘Group Meditation’ which aims to instill a calmer outlook on life and relieve stress through deep breathing and visualisation techniques. Justin will be leading these 60-minute workshops throughout mid-December for just AED 110 per person.

Dr Buathon Thienarrom

Holistic practitioner and founder of the Sukkasart Institute of Healing Arts in Thailand, Dr. Buathon Thienarrom offers an approach like no other. She will be in residence at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi from 25 January – 3 February to share her expertise in Taoism, Sound Healing, Tibetan Medicine and Mind Training.

With 60-minute sessions available for AED 1,700, ‘ZenNaTai’ can release chest, cranial and abdominal tension, and stimulate the lymphatic flow thus supporting the release of toxins. Guests can also boost energy (Qi) flow through Buathon’s ‘Energy Enhancing’ treatment which uses restorative sound vibration from Tibetan healing bowls to slow down brain frequencies. The process takes 75 minutes for AED 2,135 and results in immediate rejuvenation and calm.

Finally, the ‘Mind Transformation’ promotes emotional wellbeing and mind training through conscious breathing exercises. Buathon offers this one-to-one treatment for AED 1,700 for 60 minutes to transform stress and negative emotions into vitality.

Milena Naydenov

At the heart of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental lies a number of unique and luxury brands including 111Skin. The innovative, cutting-edge formulas from Harley Street will be customised for UAE guests as the company’s global head of aesthetics, Milena Naydenov, visits the resort from 20-25 February.

Milena will provide three exclusively designed, high-performance skincare treatments – all of which are available at AED 1,470 for 90 minutes. Guests can unlock deep nourishment and hydration thanks to ‘The Signature Harley Street Facial,’ promote a youthful and sculpted appearance through a ‘Celestial Black Diamond Non-Surgical Lift’ or enjoy her innovative massage technique as part of the ‘Rose Gold Radiance Facial.’
