Rooted in technique-driven Indian cuisine, Avatara’s vegan and vegetarian menus celebrate seasonal produce at its peak. Rather than relying on substitutes or imitation proteins, each dish is thoughtfully composed to highlight natural flavours, textures, and balance—designed for discerning diners seeking an elevated culinary experience.

This Veganuary, guests can explore Avatara’s Lunch Menu, which unfold as a refined culinary journey through bold, layered flavours and modern presentation. Highlights include Wasabi Greens with coral cookie and pickled daikon, Butternut with chickpea taco and black lime, and Aloe Vera paired with tom kha gelato and pomelo salad. Heartier courses showcase the kitchen’s technical precision, from Corn Sourdough bhatura with tonburi and Raw Banana varuval with curry leaf sorbet, to Jackfruit with teardrop peas, spinach, and kaffir curry.

At dinner, the extended Experience tasting menu introduces additional indulgent plates, including Truffle mushroom tart with black garlic aioli, Eggplant shiso wrap with yuzu kosho, and Green Pea Kebab with spinach and kafir curry, followed by Jasmine rice with pandan, jaggery, and sesame ice cream—a refined yet comforting finale.

At the helm, Head Chef Omkar Walve brings MICHELIN-starred precision and creativity to vegetarian and vegan cuisine, applying classical technique and modern refinement to naturally plant-based ingredients. The result is a menu that feels indulgent, intentional, and uncompromising—appealing to seasoned gastronomes and Veganuary explorers alike.

“Plant-based dining should never feel restrictive,” says Chef Omkar Walve. “At Avatara, our focus is always on flavour, technique, and experience. Veganuary is simply an opportunity to showcase how refined and exciting vegetarian and vegan cuisine can truly be.”

Located in Dubai Hills Estate, Avatara welcomes guests for dinner Tuesday to Sunday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM (closed Mondays) and is now also open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

The Lunch Menu is priced at AED 540, while the Avatara Experience Menu is priced at AED 750, with all prices inclusive of taxes
