Scheduled to open in 2026, the advanced facility is expected to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a global centre for healthcare innovation and medical excellence.

With more than 100 years of history, Institut Marquès is a global leader in assisted reproduction, widely known for its pioneering research, advanced technology and high success rates in fertility treatments. The institute operates cutting-edge embryology laboratories and employs a multidisciplinary team of nearly 200 specialists, including gynaecologists, embryologists and psychologists, achieving reported success rates of up to 86 percent.

Institut Marquès currently runs clinics in Barcelona, Sabadell, Rome and Milan, and its expansion into Abu Dhabi will introduce European clinical expertise and advanced fertility solutions to the UAE capital.

The new centre will integrate seamlessly into Abu Dhabi’s established healthcare infrastructure, regulatory framework and long-term national health strategy, offering patients a comprehensive range of fertility services.

According to the World Health Organisation, infertility affects one in six adults worldwide, making the arrival of Institut Marquès a significant step in addressing this global health issue. The initiative also supports EIH’s commitment to advancing Abu Dhabi’s medical tourism sector and enhancing local healthcare standards and patient care.

EIH stated that bringing Institut Marquès to Abu Dhabi reflects its dedication to supporting the emirate’s ambition to become a regional and global healthcare hub, highlighting the institute’s proven ability to deliver consistent clinical excellence across international markets.

Institut Marquès operates under the FutureLife group, a global reproductive medicine leader with more than 60 clinics across 16 countries. Abu Dhabi will act as the base for the institute’s regional expansion, further strengthening the city’s position in advanced reproductive healthcare.

FutureLife is backed by Hartenberg and CVC Capital Partners, both of which have strong investment track records and ongoing commitments to supporting business growth and development in the UAE.
