The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) announced on Wednesday the availability of free Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for eligible residents and citizens in six selected centres across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Prior appointments are necessary to avail of the Pfizer-BioNTech jabs, SEHA said.

“SEHA” stated that the centres where the Pfizer vaccine is available are Al Zafaranah Diagnostic and Screening Centre, Madinat Mohammed Bin Zayed Healthcare Centre and Al Bahia Healthcare Centre in Abu Dhabi, Oud Al Toubah Diagnostic and Screening Centre and Neima Healthcare Centre in Al Ain, and Al Dhafra Family Medicine Centre in Al Dhafra.

It also explained that individuals must call 800 50 to book an appointment for the vaccination, noting that Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is available with two doses-three weeks apart for the non-vaccinated individuals who are above 16.

Pregnant women should consult the physician available at the centre during their appointment.

SEHA stressed the importance of continuing the vaccination campaign against the COVID-19 during the holy month of Ramadan, affirming that there is no medical objection to taking the vaccine during fasting.
