UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Jeff Bezos, Founder and Executive Chairman of Amazon, to Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration and building partnerships in innovation, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on leveraging these tools in key sectors such as education, healthcare, and the economy. The aim is to drive development, improve quality of life, and contribute to human progress and prosperity.
Jeff Bezos praised the UAE’s forward-looking vision and its proactive approach to adopting future technologies in ways that benefit society and foster sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council (AIATC); Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; along with several senior officials.
