TakaHisa Japanese Restaurant announces a special collaboration with Chef Tomoyuki Yoshinaga, Chef and Owner of the Michelin-starred Sushi Yoshinaga in Paris. This exclusive Omakase experience will be held from Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 25th, offering a unique and immersive culinary event.

Guests are invited to indulge in a specially crafted multi-course Omakase menu, fusing traditional and modern Japanese cuisine with Parisien flair. Priced at AED 3,000 per person, seating is available at 6 pm and 9 pm on all four days of the collaboration and guests will be seated at either side of the Omakase counter for an intimate experience.

TakaHisa offers a dining experience that transcends traditional Japanese cuisine under the helm of Chefs Taka and Hisa, renowned for their expertise in sushi and wagyu. Their exceptional menu features premium seafood sourced from Japan’s Toyosu Fish Market and A5 Kobe beef of the highest grade, promising a once in a lifetime culinary journey.

TakaHisa selected the Michelin-starred Sushi Yoshinaga in Paris for its harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.  Located between the Opéra and Paris’ Japanese Quarter, the restaurant’s design blends contemporary aesthetics with traditional Japanese elements. The serene setting creates an atmosphere where time seemingly stands still, allowing guests to focus entirely on the culinary artistry of Chef Yoshinaga. From the nigiri to the sakes, every element at Sushi Yoshinaga reflects a deep respect for Japanese heritage while embracing contemporary innovation. The venue is a true must-visit destination for those seeking an unparalleled sushi experience.

Chef and Owner of Sushi Yoshinaga, Tomoyuki Yoshinaga, has dedicated nearly two decades to mastering the art of sushi. After completing his traditional training in Japan, he moved to Paris and joined the renowned Chef Okuda of the Michelin-starred GINZA Okuda in Tokyo. Here, he discovered a clientele with sophisticated palates and a new variety of fish, inspiring him to develop a unique technique that marries the edomae sushi heritage with his own innovative approach. Chef Yoshinaga’s style is characterized by flavors that are felt rather than described, offering diners a truly memorable experience.

During the collaboration at TakaHisa, guests can look forward to an exquisite Omakase menu featuring the finest seasonal produce. Chef Yoshinaga’s mastery in maturing fish to enhance taste and texture will be on full display with each dish carefully prepared and presented along with Chef Taka’s and Chef Hisa’s expertise in creating a Japanese gastronomic experience that is both extraordinary and deeply rooted in tradition.

Complementing the Omakase experience is TakaHisa’s extensive selection of wine, sake, spirits, and champagne. Guided by Senior Sommelier Ram Khadka and TakaHisa’s team of beverage experts, each selection is thoughtfully paired with each course, enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

This collaboration between TakaHisa and Chef Tomoyuki Yoshinaga promises to be a celebration of culinary craftsmanship and innovation. As seating is limited, early reservations are highly recommended. Guests can book their slots by contacting +971 4 556 6688 or email reservations@takahisa.ae. Join us at TakaHisa from August 22nd to 25th for a unique opportunity to experience the culinary mastery of Chef Tomoyuki Yoshinaga, Chef Taka and Chef Hisa
