Junk Smash Burgers, the viral Paris and London based smash burger brand, is opening its first UAE location this Friday, the 3rd of October at 25 Jump Street, Dubai’s first licensed dining street located adjacent to 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central. The branch is located in The Offices 5, One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre.

Founded by visionary entrepreneur Majed Mansour and self-taught chef Wissem Ben Ammar, Junk blends strategic innovation with bold culinary creativity. Majed drives the brand’s ambition to reshape the burger industry, while Wissem’s instinctive approach to recipe creation, innovation, and quality has shaped Junk’s distinctive flavour identity. Together, they have built a pioneering European street food brand that balances accessibility with premium quality, making Junk a key player in today’s contemporary dining scene.

“With Dubai, we see an opportunity to bring our vision of premium yet accessible street food to one of the world’s most dynamic dining markets,” said Majed Mansour, Co-Founder of Junk Smash Burgers. “Junk was created to strip burgers back to what really matters: quality ingredients, simple execution, and bold flavour. We believe that philosophy will resonate strongly with UAE consumers who are looking for authentic flavours.”

With 15 branches in France across Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Lille, Bordeaux, Toulouse two in the UK in London, this opening marks Junk’s 18th branch on a worldwide scale, with the Dubai branch being the first in the MENA region.

Beyond burgers, the Dubai outlet also features Puffy Cookies, a Paris-born dessert brand with a New York-style twist, offering a complementary product line that has proven popular in its international markets.

Positioned as a “quality-first” smash burger concept, Junk differentiates itself by focusing on premium wagyu beef varieties, paired with soft brioche buns. The streamlined menu emphasises consistency and scalability while maintaining brand standards across international markets.

Junk Smash Burgers is the only burger joint amongst the buzzing new F&B scene at 25 Jump Street. The development represents one of Dubai’s most anticipated new F&B hubs, designed to bring together diverse culinary brands within a licensed, street-style setting. It will feature casual gastronomy
for diverse dining, speakeasy & neighbourhood hangouts for trendy bar experiences, and nightclubs, live music & comedy shows for exciting entertainment.

Launching this autumn 2025, 25 Jump Street will span 12 uniquely selected concepts, bringing a mix of celebrated homegrown and international brands. Renowned international brands such as Antika, Em Sherif Deli, Lady Bird, Junk, Joe & The Juice, Pepperoni, Le Trottoir de Paloma, Lucylu, Escobar, 19SixtyFour and the Tokyo-inspired YUBI Handroll Bar will also call 25 Jump Street home.
