The Kingdom of Food is coming to Riyadh’s iconic Kingdom Center
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s first-of-its-kind social dining destination opens today, September 14, 2023, in Riyadh. Located in the iconic Kingdom Center, Al Mamlaka Social Dining offers a world-class food and dining hall concept, marked by a first-to-market social ethos that takes traditional market hall dining to the next level of luxury and underlines the innovative spirit of Saudi Arabia’s F&B scene.
Al Mamlaka Social Dining represents a masterful curation of 21 kitchens, selected to offer the best of local and international brands, with multiple cuisines arranged around four areas. Local concepts from the region will be at the fore, showcasing the best of the region and its culinary heritage, whilst also incorporating global trends and providing a platform for emerging Saudi talent to bring their concepts to life.
Commenting on the launch of Al Mamlaka Social Dining, Nada Saleh Al Ateegi, Chairman at Kingdom Investment and Development Company said: “With Saudi Arabia’s dining landscape undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by Saudi Vision 2030 and the national tourism strategy, our goal was to create a unique, experience-led, and highly social dining destination in Riyadh. The latest addition to the Kingdom Center in Riyadh will be divided into four zones, each with its own unique offerings. The International Collection, Deli Collection, and Coffee & Bakery zones operate on a counter service basis and will engage guests through open kitchens, and elements of theatre with a sushi counter, and a live pasta making station, to name a few. The fourth zone, The Destination Dining Collection, which include Lilly’s Café and Assembly offer prior reservation, while the Deli Dining, International Collection, and Coffee & Bakery zones are on a walk-in basis.
Some of the most notable local concepts include La Rustica for an authentic taste of Napoli, Rare Grill, savour the exquisite taste of Rare’s juicy, high complex marbled steak, PAO, offering a wide selection of superfood recipes, and Hanoverian, home to some of the most delectable chocolates and cakes. Other favourites include Nozomi Boutique, crafted by award-winning brand NOZOMI, a boutique version of contemporary Japanese cuisine infused with European subtleties, and Seray Bistro, a new concept developed by Lebanese favourite Seray, serving authentic Lebanese cuisine. In addition, first-to-market international concepts include CARNEb, 3-Michelin star Chef Mauro Colagreco’s Argentinian burger concept, Assembly, a new concept by World’s 50 Best MENA Chef Tommy offering mezze and skewers, as well the Blended by Lyre’s bar serving coffee and drinks from morning till night.
Richly immersive and interactive dining experiences are a central element of Al Mamlaka Social Dining, with open kitchens, and entertainment dining all working together to create an unforgettable series of moments. As such, Al Mamlaka is a pioneering new concept that proudly represents the great strides the Kingdom has taken in recent years, embodying the transformative plans of Vision 2030.
