Governor of the Turkish province of Gaziantep, Erdal Ata, on Friday met HE Qatar’s Ambassador to Ankara Salem bin Mubarak Al-Shafi.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing and developing them.
On the sidelines of his visit to the province, HE Al-Shafi also met separately with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Sahin and chief of the province’s commerce chamaber.
HE also met head of the exporters union for the eastern Anatolia region as well as a group of senior businessmen in the province. Talks focused on ways of boosting and developing trade ties between the two sides in order to serve mutual interests of the two friendly countries.
