In line with its ongoing efforts to strengthen collaborative ties and relations with various local governments departments, the Ministry of Finance has announced the Emirate of Ajman and Federal Financial Systems have been electronically linked to each other.
The decision was taken after a meeting between the officials of Ministry of Finance (MoF) and Department of Finance (DoF) of Ajman today at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The Ministry of Finance has said that announcement outlines its commitment to enhance financial discipline across federal and local government entities, which will in turn improve fiscal alignment and economic balance within the U.A.E.
“The linking of both the federal and Ajman financial systems will support the joint working team of the Emirates Gate of GFS Reports system and is part of ministry’s strategy to implement international standards in the coordination of fiscal policies and meet international requirements in the field of government financial statistics,” it added.
