HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani met here today with Head of the City of London, the capital’s financial district, Mayor Lord Alderman Alan Yarrow and his accompanying delegation.

Trade exchange between the State of Qatar and the United totaled in 2013 nearly QAR 19 billion (USD 5.2 billion). Qatar exports to the United Kingdom valued nearly QAR billion (USD 3.9 billion) while its imports valued nearly QAR 5 billion (USD 1.4 billion) 79 British companies are practicing business in the Qatari market in the sectors of oil and gas, infrastructure and information technology.
