The Secretary General of the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC) Dr. Abdulrahim Hasan Naqi praised great efforts being made by Qatar’s leadership to support Qatar Chamber and private sector in order to achieve sustainable development based on the diversification of income sources. These efforts led to a clear development of the state’s business sector and stimulate small and medium-sized companies, he said.
Naqi made the remarks as he attended today a meeting at Qatar Chamber to announce the 4th Made in Qatar exhibition that will be held here next May.
This comes at an important time, especially in light of falling oil prices and a positive trend taken by the GCC countries to focus on economic diversification and various industries in order to be synonymous for the economy, he added.
In coordination with the Qatar Chamber, the FGCC Chambers invite companies, businessmen and partners abroad to attend this exhibition, noting that the participation of more than 30 GCC national chambers is a support for the event, he said.
