Etisalat Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Abdul Karim Julfar, has met with Alassane Ouattara, President of Cote d’Ivoire, during the West Africa Investment Forum – which took place in Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
The meeting addressed plans and approaches for the development of the telecommunications sector in Cote d’Ivoire, where the Etisalat Group subsidiary, Etisalat Moov, has operated since 2006. Last year, Etisalat Moov introduced 3G mobile broadband services while maintaining affordability at the core of its pricing strategy.
The West Africa Investment Forum has brought together Heads of State of six of the eight participating African countries, as well as key stakeholders, for the formal announcement of a series of large-scale infrastructural developments in West Africa.
