EmiratesLNG, a joint venture company between Mubadala Petroleum and the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), is participating in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2014, taking place until 13th November.
The company’s participation will support its efforts to enhance relations with industry peers, to exchange knowledge with experts and to establish partnerships with local and international oil and gas leaders.
During the event, EmiratesLNG is networking with key industry players to raise awareness of its operations and to build strategic collaborations with key LNG suppliers and peers. Company representatives will also be present at the stand to meet with potential UAE national recruits who are interested in working in the gas sector.
Commenting on EmiratesLNG’s participation, Chief Executive Officer, Ahmed Matar Al Mazrouei, said, “Our participation in ADIPEC 2014, which is a key event on the global oil and gas industry calendar, comes at a time where we are reviewing tenders for building the Fujairah land-based regasification facility to import LNG. We expect the process to be finalised early in 2015. Our presence at this year’s special 30th anniversary exhibition reflects EmiratesLNG’s commitment to contribute to the continued development of the UAE’s gas sector, and in turn support the prosperity of the country’s economy.” He added, “The event gives us an opportunity to meet major industry players from around the world and to exchange knowledge and forge new partnerships, which will support us in our objective to meet the UAE’s increasing need for secure and clean energy.”
