DFM successfully concludes its Summer Training Program 2014

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) successfully concluded its Summer Training Program with the participation of 10 Emarati students representing several schools and universities in the U.A.E.

The participants have been trained for 3 weeks from August 3rd to August 21th 2014 for 6 hours per day.

The program’s success in achieving its desired objectives over the previous rounds has encouraged DFM to continue the organization of this event yearly. Every trainee receives a cash allowance in addition to the appreciation certificate.

DFM has held a closing ceremony at the end of the training program. Prizes and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants in the presence of Jamal Ibrahim Al Khadhar, Senior Vice President, Head of Human Resources and Strategic Planning Division.

Al Khadhar, said: “The organization of the summer training program for UAE students reaffirms DFM’s commitment to social responsibility, developing and nurturing local talent, as well as growing the role of youth in society. The program involved several challengeable aspects of practical training, such as IT operations, and the DFM Stock Game which is a virtual stimulation of the stock market that gave the participants a chance to apply their theory and knowledge with actual realistic practice to achieve the real market experience. All of the trainees have successfully met the training challenges and completed the program with excitement. Students have expressed their appreciation for this beneficial program that enhanced their knowledge about the financial markets and DFM operations.”
