Ajman to host ”Economic Identity of Businesswomen in the Arab World Convention”

Ajman will host the ”Economic Identity of Businesswomen in the Arab World Convention” on 19-20 January, 2015 under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan, wife of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.

Jointly organised by Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), in partnership with Identity Branding Forum, the two-day event will highlight the economic influence of business women in the Arab World, and the opportunities that could emerge if this dynamic economic power is developed as an excellent economic identity which will have a positive impact on economic development of communities.

This Convention will focus on the development of the Economic Identity of Businesswomen in the Arab World, and strategies to further build that identity’s value and position.

Mohammed Al Jenahi, Executive Director of Investment and Business Development Sector, ACCI, told a press conference today that the conference will assemble powerful speakers from the Arab World, the UK and the US who will shine the spot light on the economic significance of businesswomen, and discuss the methodology of building corporate identity and best ways to empower women to build economic identity.

The conference, he added, is being convened in Ajman for the first time, noting that women own and control over 40 per cent of business investment capital in the Arab world.

Abed Baidas, the CEO of Identity Branding Forum, said Ajman was selected to host this economic gathering since it nurtures an ambition to become a model for sustainable socio-economic development.

According to him, the convention is focused on innovative women and will teach them everything they need to know about Brand Identity and how it can be utilized to move them to a higher level.

He added that the event will see the launch of a series of ground-breaking initiatives, including the first economic club in the UAE, which will act as a bridge to connect economic opportunities in rural and remote areas with capital centres in the Arab region and the world.

The forum will provide a platform where women can learn new strategies and obtain actionable advice to benefit from the power of brand, adding to the economic power of the business. The participants will get to understand brand identity and how to apply it in their careers and business.

They will learn ways to take advantage of the increasing opportunities for socio-economic positioning. They will also learn how to create and own an impactful brand which will set them apart from their competitors and help them move to the top.
