Abu Dhabi has a prosperous economy, is rich in oil resources and it is also a big market for potential offshore project, according to a top official of the Chinese Offshore Engineering Company, (COOEC).
Zhou Xuezhong, CEO of largest offshore engineering construction enterprise and only large-scale general contracting company in China, was quoted by the ADIPEC News Bulletin as saying, “We hope, through an Abu Dhabi division, to open a new era in international business by an being open-minded, making the best of advantages and facing the global market.” COOEC is participating in the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2014. The company has stepped-up its involvement in the Middle East by establishing an Abu Dhabi-headquartered division.
