Ministry to Organize Workshop on Tender Competitiveness Protection

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce next Tuesday and Wednesday will organize a workshop on protection of Tender competitiveness with participation of a number of GCC government departments and the private sector as well as specialized international experts in the field of protection of competitiveness and the fight against collusion in tender procedures.
The workshop aims to increase the awareness of specialists in tender procedures and its impact on the economy besides deepening understanding and awareness of the need to stimulate competition and anti-manipulation when tendering, through facilitating participation in bidding procedures, and activating the principle of equal opportunities for all companies and methods of agreements disclosure in various forms.
