In a big ceremony held Wednesday under the patronage of Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait Credit Bank celebrated the 50th anniversary of its foundation.
His Highness the Amir has deputized His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to represent him at the celebration.
Also attended the ceremony a plethora of ministers, governors and top state officials.
The celebration began with playing the national anthem, then a recitation of verses of the Quran.
Minister of Housing Yasser Hassan Abul and Kuwait Credit Bank Director General delivered two speeches on the occasion. Then a documentary about the KCB’s history and mission.
On behalf of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Prime Minister honored a number of the figures who were behind the bank’s foundation and the success story.
The honored figures included late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah — his son Sheikh Salem Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received the award on his behalf — and a number of the bank’s co-founders and leaders.
The Bank’s staff presented a memorial gift for His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion.
