International and local partners pledge support for 10th WIEF

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the WIEF Foundation, organisers of the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum, have announced that a number of sponsors and partners have come forward to support the event, which will be hosted for the first time in Dubai from October 28th to 30th.

The collaboration between the WIEF Foundation, Dubai Chamber and Industry international and local partners of the 10th WIEF include Strategic Sponsors, Maybank Islamic, as well as leading banking entities in the Middle East region, Dubai Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank. Platinum Sponsors include Iskandar Investment Berhad and AJ Pharma Holding, while Malaysian developer UMLand, Malaysia’s leading global and diversified agri-business Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) and international financial institution Islamic Development Bank (IDB) are Gold Sponsors. Among the Silver Sponsors are INCEIF, Securities Commission Malaysia, Citi and Attijari Al Islami. Other partners include Official Airline, Emirates, Official Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah Dubai and Global Knowledge Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

The 10th WIEF will also be supported by a number of top tier media partners, including Thomson Reuters, Gulf News, Entrepreneur Middle East, Financial Times, Forbes Middle East, Bloomberg Businessweek Middle East and Aswaq.

Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “The forthcoming 10th World Islamic Economic Forum is a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the global economy through generation of new ideas and promotion of business collaboration. Sponsorship demonstrates your on-going commitment to the Foundation, simultaneously opening the doors for you to network with top business leaders and prospects.” The 10th WIEF, which is being organised under the theme, ‘Innovative Partnerships for Economic Growth’, is expected to be attended by more than 2,500 participants from 140 countries and is being held at the Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre.
