Experience Abu Dhabi has announced that legendary American singer-songwriter Lionel Richie is the latest world-renowned act confirmed to perform during Saadiyat Nights, the UAE capital’s three-month series of open-air music concerts.
Set to say Hello to crowds in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 22 February, Richie promises to bring his energy and star power to performances of classic tracks such as Endless Love, Dancing on the Ceiling, All Night Long (All Night), and Three Times A Lady. Fans can purchase tickets now via: Ticketmaster.ae
A four-time Grammy Award recipient and winner of both an Academy Award and Golden Globe in the Best Original Song category for Say You, Say Me, Richie last played in the UAE capital in 2016.
The musician has been added to an already star-studded line-up: confirmed for Saadiyat Nights’ second edition are Ebi on 4 January (Platinumlist.net), Michael Bublé on 16 January (Ticketmaster.ae), Christina Aguilera on 15 February (Ticketmaster.ae); Leningrad on 24 January (Platinumlist.net); Boyz II Men on 25 January (Ticketmaster.ae), and Omar Khairat on 1 February (Platinumlist.net), with more acts set to be announced in the coming weeks.
The first edition of Saadiyat Nights, which ran from January to March 2024, featured Mariah Carey, Googoosh, John Legend, Alicia Keys, and Andrea Bocelli, among others.
