Exxon Mobil Honours Al Attiyah

Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority receive Exxon Mobil’s ‘Dewhurst Award’.

Exxon Mobil hosted this evening a ceremony in honor of HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah who has been selected to win the ‘Dewhurst Award’ which will be given by the World Petroleum Council on Thursday at a huge gala during the conclusion of the 21st World Petroleum Council in Moscow.

This award is given, at this conference which is held every three years, to those who make exceptional achievements in the energy industry sector.
during the ceremony, Exxon Mobil bestowed HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority with a shield as a commemorative souvenir in his honour for his selection for this international award as well as in recognition for his great efforts in the development of the oil and gas industry in Qatar and for establishing partnerships with international companies, especially with Exxon Mobil during his tenure at the ministry energy and Industry and the presidency of the Board of Directors of Qatar Petroleum.

In a speech during the ceremony, HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority expressed pleasure for this honoring, thanking all the people with whom he worked at both Exxon Mobil or Qatar Petroleum.
He confirmed that it was the hard work that made us reap ”this positive fruit”, wishing success to everyone one and to joint ventures.

The honoring ceremony was attended by members of Exxon Mobil Executive Office, members of the official delegation accompanying the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, a number of senior managers of oil companies in Qatar and a large number of participants in the conference.
