“Tomorrow’s Designers” Exhibition Opens at Fifty One East

Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, in collaboration with Fifty One East, Qatar’s favorite department store, opened “Tomorrow’s Designers” exhibition. The expo at the first floor of Fifty One East at Lagoona Mall was inaugurated in the presence of a group of dignitaries, the press and guests.

The exhibition, which runs until October 2, 2021, highlights the made-in-Qatar innovative designs by young men and women, and their startups. The event aims at motivating young entrepreneurs to further develop, move forward in their businesses and pursue their dreams to be among the league of leading designers in the local, regional, and global markets.

Guests can visit the “Tomorrow’s Designers” exhibition daily from 10 am to 10 pm to have a close look at the exhibited products and get acquainted with participating projects which were developed in Qatar and are specialized in the fashion and design industry. The displayed products include, “Keshtban”, “Lovah”, “Ello Activewear”, “Dana Riad”, “Swayra Jewellery”, “I L A N”, “Hindam”, “ATOURS”, “Tifa.line”, “H&H Line”, “SB Couture”, “Kaftanii”, “LUSSO DI S”, “Soie De Luxe”, “Gahfia”, “NT Abaya”, “Ghand Jewellery”, “Sadiem Collection” and “Nero Fashion”.

Through the “Tomorrow’s Designers” exhibition, Fifty One East seeks to offer an exceptional platform for startup designers and entrepreneurs in Qatar, by providing them with the opportunity to meet a wide range of fashion lovers. Towards the end of the exhibition, participants will also have opportunities to cooperate and forge partnerships with Fifty One East to embrace their products and designs.

On this occasion, Mr. Abdulla Faleh Al Saeed – Board Member and General Manager of Bedaya Center, said: “The exhibition is a result of the efforts exerted by Bedaya Center to support small and medium enterprises, as it enhances the capabilities and skills of entrepreneurs to adapt to the requirements of society”.

“The exhibition also confirms Fifty One East’s keenness to support talents and competencies to consolidate the concept of adopting national projects by providing the opportunity for entrepreneurs in Qatar to highlight their talent, present their ideas, and provide a platform to display their products and market their brands, which enhances their confidence and helps achieve Qatar National Vision 2030 in supporting human development”, he added.

Commenting on the collaboration, Mr. Bader Al-Darwish, Chairman and Managing Director of Fifty One East, said: “We always strive to be a source of support and inspiration for the younger generation in Qatar by sharing our long-standing experience. Direct investment in young human energies contributes greatly in achieving the country’s strategy aimed at diversifying its economic activities. We wish all designers continuous success and we invite all our valued customers to visit the exhibition and discover various brilliant designs and breathtaking inspiration”.
