Arcadia, Kuwait’s leading luxury furniture brand, is set to make design history with the launch of Design Unfold: Edition One
Kuwait’s premier high-end furniture retailer, Arcadia, proudly announces Design Unfold: Edition One, the country’s largest celebration of creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship. Taking place on 26 and 27 October 2025 at the Design District in Kuwait, the two-day event will bring together architects, designers, and creative minds. With an exciting lineup of interactive workshops, inspiring talk shows, exclusive inaugurations, and keynote sessions, Design Unfold is set to redefine Kuwait’s position on the regional design map.
From exploring Italian craftsmanship to celebrating innovative material use, the event promises to offer an immersive experience into the world of design excellence, like never before!
Featuring iconic brands such as Poltrona Frau, Salvatori, Moroso, Gallotti&Radice, Rimadesio, and Barovier&Toso, Design Unfold will unite the worlds of luxury design and artisanal excellence, setting a new benchmark for Kuwait’s design landscape.
Welcoming the guests into the event, Arcadia, the leading bespoke furniture brand, will host a private VIP dinner on October 26th, 2025 (Day 1), to mark the opening of the first such event, bringing together industry leaders for an evening of collaboration and connection.
On October 27 (Day 2), Design Unfold promises an immersive experience, starting with interactive workshops, followed by engaging talk shows and keynote sessions. The first talk that will be held at the College of Architecture, Kuwait University, will feature renowned designer Elisa Ossino, followed by a presentation by acclaimed architect Roberto Palomba.
The event at Design District will also include the Gallotti&Radice Workshop – “Timeless Beauty”, featuring hands-on mirror engraving, and the Moroso Workshop, in collaboration with Kvadrat, “From Fibre to product: The Existing Journey of Textile”, showcasing Italian upholstery craftsmanship.
A dynamic panel discussion will also be held, featuring prominent Kuwaiti designers and architects who will delve into the evolving landscape of design in the region. The conversation will explore the intersection of tradition and innovation and the unique cultural narratives shaping Kuwait’s architectural identity today.
Silvia Gallotti will share insights on the new essence of glass in modern furniture, spotlighting its essence in Gallotti&Radice.
Gabriele Salvatori, CEO at Salvatori and distinguished architect Elisa Ossino will also hold an engaging panel talk at the Panel Hall in the Design District, where they will share insights into their collaborative work, design philosophies, and the evolving landscape of contemporary architecture and interior design.
The evening will continue with the Poltrona Frau store inauguration with a ribbon cutting and a keynote by Roberto Palomba, the launch of the new Rimadesio Collection- ‘Modernity Flow’, and a special Barovier & Toso ‘Cups of Joy’ installation celebrating the brand’s legacy in glass artistry.
Design Unfold also includes the Iconic Pieces Exhibition, showcasing the concept of “Iconic Chairs: A Journey Through Design”.
Over two days, guests will learn, experience, and live design at its finest, setting the stage for a new annual tradition in Kuwait’s creative landscape.
