On August 26, 2020, opinion leaders from the F&B industry will meet for a digital expert summit, The New Hospitality, hosted by Rational.
Innovation digitalisation and sustainability are the key topics that will be discussed on this day. Top-class speakers will, not only share their knowledge, but also be available for discussions and questions in a virtual forum after their presentations.
In addition, participants will be able to conduct peer-to-peer dialogues and make appointments for a later date. “Unusual times require unusual activities,” is how Nicolas Makowski, Senior Director International Key Account Management at Rational, explains the concept of the event.
The conference will be conducted on a digital platform, but – similar to an analogue trade fair – it allows presentations, product demonstrations, exchange and networking.
“We will deliberately hold the event at two different times to give customers from all regions of the world the opportunity to participate. The advantage of the digital preliminaries is that we have no restrictions and worldwide participation is possible,” says Makowski.
To avoid conflicts due to the time difference, the Expert Summit will take place in two different time windows, each lasting approximately three hours.
