J1 Beach at La Mer, Merex Investment’s upcoming flagship beach resort destination in the heart of Jumeirah, has announced the appointment of ARCO Turnkey Solutions as the lead construction contractor for the project.
The planned redevelopment of La Mer into a beachfront, resort destination reflects Merex Investment’s strategic focus on creating enduring value through identifying market opportunities and reshaping their offering to fulfil customer needs. J1 Beach at La Mer will feature a cohesive customer experience and intentionally designed touchpoints that would set it apart from existing attractions in Dubai.
Set to be the next must-visit destination in Dubai, J1 Beach at La Mer will feature an impressive selection of high-end dining options and scenic beachfront experiences. The first phase of the leasing process for this 500-meter-long destination is now more than 90 per cent complete, with a total of ten exciting concepts already confirmed for its grand opening.
Among the main attractions of J1 Beach will be its diverse range of signature restaurants, which include Dubai outposts for Michelin-starred establishments, original food concepts, and licensed venues. Patrons will be able to enjoy various cuisines ranging from French, Middle Eastern, Asian-Mediterranean, and Pan-Asian. The destination will also house three renowned beach clubs – Gigi Rigolatto, Bâoli, and Sirene Beach by Gaia – that will offer visitors a memorable beachfront experience from dawn to dusk.

La Mer South is currently undergoing redevelopment to create a unique dining district featuring beachfront experiences, signature restaurants, original food concepts, and licensed venues. J1 Beach at La Mer will be the centerpiece of this development, offering uninterrupted sea views and premium F&B offerings.
Nestled along the shoreline of Jumeirah 1, and just a stone’s throw away from central Dubai, visitors will be able to enjoy stunning sea and city skyline views of the Burj Khalifa, which makes this location a one-of-a-kind destination in the region.
J1 Beach at La Mer captures the essence of the French Riviera, offering a blend of refined elegance and sophistication that is sure to captivate the interest of tourists and residents. To enhance the convenience for visitors, each beach club and restaurant will have a dedicated valet service, along with a shuttle option, covered walkways, and even a jetty for arrival by boat.
