Meraas has awarded a new AED 440 million construction contract to GCC Contracting for the development of City Walk Northline, a key addition to the fast-growing City Walk neighbourhood. The project will see the construction of three premium residential buildings, scheduled for completion in Q3 2027.

Under the contract, GCC Contracting will lead the development of City Walk Northline 1 — an eight-storey building offering 114 one- to three-bedroom apartments — as well as City Walk Northline 2, which comprises two eight-storey residential buildings with a combined total of 190 units.

The Northline development underscores City Walk’s continued evolution into a premier urban lifestyle hub, celebrated for its blend of retail, dining, leisure and residential experiences. The new project introduces a striking contemporary aesthetic, enhanced by innovative architecture and refined amenities.

Residents will benefit from features including private terraces, infinity-edge pools, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and sophisticated communal areas, creating a calm and elevated urban retreat. The three buildings will showcase a minimalist exterior influenced by nearby attractions such as The Green Planet, Central Park and City Walk’s retail boulevard. Interiors are designed to maximise natural light and incorporate premium finishes, reflecting modern elegance and a commitment to high-quality living.

Khalid Al Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said:
“City Walk Northline represents a significant milestone in the ongoing development of one of Dubai’s most dynamic lifestyle destinations. The three residential buildings have been thoughtfully designed to embody the energy and style of this unique neighbourhood, while providing residents with the highest standards of contemporary design and aesthetics. Our partnership with GCC Contracting reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional homes that meet the aspirations of our residents and further enrich Dubai’s urban landscape.”

Bipin Chandran, Executive Director and CEO at GCC Contracting, added:
“We are pleased to partner with Meraas as the construction partner for City Walk Northline. This project will further enhance Dubai’s residential landscape and reflects our shared commitment to delivering developments of exceptional quality. Operating at the forefront of the emirate’s real estate sector, Meraas continues to demonstrate a bold vision and deep expertise that fuels this important engine of economic growth.”

Located between Jumeirah Street and Sheikh Zayed Road, City Walk Northline provides convenient access to major Dubai landmarks, including the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai Mall and Jumeirah Beach, reinforcing its appeal as a premier residential address.
