In a powerful push to enhance citizen well-being, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has greenlit over AED2 billion in housing projects across Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, visited the Wadi Al-Amardi housing project today, where he approved a new housing package worth over AED2 billion for Emirati citizens.
During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the progress of ongoing housing initiatives across the emirate. He inspected current developments at Wadi Al-Amardi and reviewed ambitious plans for more than 1,100 new residential units, which will be distributed across four key areas: Wadi Al-Amardi, Al Aweer, Hatta, and Oud Al Muteena. The total investment in these projects exceeds AED2 billion.
Sheikh Hamdan affirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality housing that meets the needs and aspirations of Emirati families. He emphasised that the new developments will feature modern, community-focused designs, advanced infrastructure, and comprehensive public services — all tailored to enhance the well-being and stability of citizens.
Praising the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment team, His Highness highlighted their dedication to delivering sustainable and family-oriented housing solutions. “Supporting the well-being and stability of our citizens remains a top government priority,” he said.
During the tour, Sheikh Hamdan reviewed a model of the homes under development. These units are being constructed to the highest architectural and engineering standards, ensuring privacy, comfort, and a sustainable living environment for future residents.
