The recent few months have tested the resilience and strength of companies and individuals across the world. While the conditions have been extremely challenging for the world at large, this unprecedented situation has also revealed the vision and foresight of leaders and organisations who have risen to the challenge and selflessly rallied their resources for the benefit of the community. UAE’s own homegrown success story, Bayut has also made a mark by rising to the occasion and helping real estate companies who are not even registered with the company to turn obstacles into opportunities during this extremely difficult period. The leading property classifieds website in the region generously extended a helping hand to agencies across the UAE by offering their services, completely free of charge for a period of two months within April 1st to June 30th, 2020.

As part of this exclusive initiative:

  • Bayut supported over 400 agencies to list a combined total of 6000+ properties for free on the region’s leading real estate classifieds website
  • Bayut was also able to generate over 18.5 million impressions for these free property listings as a direct result of which, these agencies received over 65,000 leads.
  • The total earning potential for the agencies who were aided by Bayut with these complimentary listings is AED 2.85M.

These numbers speak volumes about the effort from the Bayut team to ensure that their partners and the industry at large do not suffer in this difficult situation while taking a huge financial hit themselves by offering their existing clients payment relief for two months.

We spoke with some of the agencies who took advantage of Bayut’s offering and they only had good things to say about their experience with Bayut.

Pankaj Ahuja, the Managing Director at Rapid Deals Real Estate shared his opinions about how the generous gesture helped their agency to engage with prospective customers, even when the real estate market slowed down due to the mobility restrictions as a result of COVID-19.

“First of all, I would like to thank Bayut for giving us an opportunity to advertise on the portal with over 20 free ads. It’s really commendable how they’ve come out to help and support our community and the agents. I also realised after adding these listings that we got a much better response on Bayut compared to other portals. I would recommend Bayut to everybody because even in these tough times our leads have converted and we’ve generated business.”

In addition to enhancing the visibility of the listings for these agencies, being with Bayut also provided participating agencies access to the advanced products and features developed by the PropTech unicorn, using which they could amplify the visibility of their listings. As part of this initiative, these agencies were able to showcase their properties to the highly engaged audience of the property portal which receives traffic of over 4 million sessions each month!

Bijal Pravin Kumar, the Head of Sales & Operations at 8 Properties, Dubai also elaborated on how this gesture from Bayut has truly set them apart and shown their commitment to the growth of the entire real estate community in the region.

“On behalf of 8 Properties, I would like to thank Bayut for its utmost support and for being so forthcoming and generously offering us trial periods during these times. We have received quality leads from Bayut, which have been converted in the span of two days. The support from the team has also been amazing. I would really like to thank them for all the support that they have given us and we would really like to take our relationship forward with Bayut for a longer period.”

His sentiments were also shared by Malik Ghulam Abbas, the General Manager of Proudpak Real Estate Management and General Maintenance, Abu Dhabi.

“I am very happy to be using Bayut for my property listings. When I heard about the free offer from Bayut, I immediately listed my properties to see what the response would be. I’m happy to say that I received very good results and I feel very satisfied to be using this platform. I suggest that real estate companies in the UAE should use Bayut. You will achieve your goals of the month before the closing!”

Commenting on Bayut’s ethos and commitment to enhancing the quality of products and services in the real estate landscape in the region, the CEO of Bayut and dubizzle, Haider Ali Khan said: “At Bayut, we have always had a strong culture of social accountability. When we were all impacted by this unfortunate situation and the global health crisis, our priority was to support Bayut’s users and partners and come together to support the entire real estate community. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to do our small part to help our industry stay resilient and give back to this amazing country that has helped us grow, flourish and define new paths for success.”
